The sanitary supervision of the man on route is entrusted

to the supreme chief of the Danitary and „vacuation

Department, and, under him, to the «ailway, -mikration,

Government and Provincial authorities.

Previous to departure, the men are to be subjected to medical

examination and, if necessary, observation and to prelimiMUTY

vaccination.

Prior to the lapse of the term for which they were hired,

the men may be transferred to another undertaking only with

the consent of the person hiring them and of the local

Government authorities.

On the lapse of the term of employment, the consent of the

local Government authorities is required before the men can

be transferred to other engagementa,

Chose regulations are to apply also to the return journey

of the men.

An Inter-Departmental Conference will decide disputes and

questions arising from the application of these regulations.
